Q. How to best store Ghee Roots Products?
For best shelf life, keep your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. The key ingredients of our formulas are 100% natural, so it’s normal for slight variations to occur. Shake well before use where indicated.
Q. What happens if I see some water droplets or separation in product?
Because Ghee Roots products are primarily made with clarified butter (ghee) after washing 100 times with purified water, you may occasionally notice slight separation or tiny water droplets — especially if the product has been exposed to heat above 75°F or direct sunlight. This is completely normal and does not affect the safety or efficacy of the formulation. Simply move the product to a cool, dry place and give it a gentle shake (or stir, for creams). It will return to its original texture and is perfectly safe to use.
Q. Can I use Ghee Roots products if I have sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Yes! In fact, our formulations are especially suited for sensitive skin because the 100x washed ghee is free from lactose, casein, and milk solids — the common irritants. Every ingredient is chosen for being gentle, non-comedogenic, and supportive of skin balance.
Q. Can my kids use Ghee Roots products?
Yes! Our products are crafted with natural, non-toxic ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals, making them gentle and safe for young, sensitive skin (above 3year+). However, since every child’s skin is unique, we recommend doing a small patch test before regular use. For very young children and babies, we suggest consulting with a pediatrician if you have any concerns.

Q. How soon can I expect to see results?
Every skin type is unique, but most users report softer, more hydrated skin within days. Because our products can penetrate 7 layers down, with consistent use, you’ll see immediate results in as little as 2 weeks. But it may take 4-6 weeks to see further improvement in texture, bounce, and glow in line with you skin's cell renewal process.
Q. Do Ghee Roots products have a strong “ghee” smell?
Not at all! Through our 100x washing process, pure A2 Vedic ghee transforms into a light, fluffy base that loses the strong dairy aroma. What you’ll notice instead is a mild, calming natural scent from our carefully chosen botanicals. Since base formulation is clarified butter, it might produce a buttery note after a prolonged period if not stored and preserved under ideal conditions.
